Diagrams

- Study labels and captions.
- Find out how parts of the object relate to one another and to the whole.
Tables
Tables use rows and columns to list information in a particular order.How to Use a Table
- Examine title and column headings carefully.
- Study captions.
- Create sentences to explain numbers to yourself.
- Compare numbers in the columns and state how they are related. Which are bigger? Which are smaller?

- Determine why certain visuals are smaller or larger than others.
